CWP and Basic Pistol Classes

We offer our South Carolina CWP, Florida CWP, and Basic Pistol classes throughout the year. Train with us in person, face to face with both men and women instructors who know what they're doing and what you should do. Ours are not online courses, correspondence courses, or "short classes" that do not meet basic standards or that even violate laws. Our combined Concealed Weapons Permit and Basic Pistol classes are complete. They meet or exceed the requirements of SLED, the State of South Carolina, the State of Florida, and many other states. Home Defense Classes

Home Defense is the training you need so you can protect and defend against home invasion. It also teaches the essentials of personal protection, the foundations of everything that follows. Our Home Defense classes are based on the NRA Personal Protection In The Home class. But we've greatly enhanced the NRA class and tailored it to meet the real needs of real people in South Carolina and neighboring states. NRA certification for Personal Protection In The Home is available as an option. Defensive Handgun Classes

Defensive Handgun is fast-paced scenario-based advanced training in the skills, strategies, and  tactics you need to protect and defend yourself in the potentially chaotic world outside your home. We pull out all the stops. Our Defensive Handgun classes have two levels (Level 1 and Level 2) based on the two levels of the NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home classes. But we've geatly enhanced those two NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home classes so we can focus sharply on the realities of personal protection and self-defense in South Carolina and neighboring states. NRA certification for Personal Protection Outside The Home is available as an option for students who have completed our Home Defense class and successfully complete both levels of our Defensive Handgun classes with the optional NRA certification. That optional NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Certification (both Level 1 and Level 2) are the prerequisite for anyone who wants to attend the NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Instructor class.   Learn more about our two Defensive Handgun classes . . .

Personal Training

Not a "class" because there are no other students, Personal Training is individual tutoring pure and simple. It's one on one—just you and a first class instructor who focuses on your needs. We work with you to help you learn what you need to learn, the way you need to learn it. Our kind of individual instruction is often the fastest, most economical way you can learn because we focus on you exclusively. NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO)
Training Classes

You don't need to be an instructor or a champion shooter to becomse a certified NRA Range Safety Officer. Our NRA Range Safety Officer Training class is extraordinarily practical on its own. We teach you the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. We're real all the way. We have real teachers and real students interacting in a real classroom at a real shooting facility with real guns of the kinds you will encounter. We actually help you learn to help real people shoot safely with firearms used here in real shooting environments. Our NRA Range Safety Officer Training is not an online course. It's a real class with real people and we give you real experience. See why our NRA Range Safety Officer Training class is  highly recommended for every firearms instructor too. NRA Basic Instructor
Training (BIT) Classes

NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) is a one-day class that is the prerequisite for every NRA discipline-specific instructor training course such as Pistol Instructor Training, Rifle Instructor Training, and Shotgun Instructor Training. After you complete Basic Instructor Training you must take and pass a Pre Course Qualification test from us in the specific discipline before we can admit you to a discipline-specific instructor training course. Qualified candidates can enroll in one of our two-day Basic Pistol Instructor Training special course packages and complete all requirements for the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor certificate in just that one weekend: Saturday and Sunday. NRA Basic Pistol Instructor
Training (PIT) Classes

The NRA Basic Pistol Instructor (PIT) certificate is required if you want to teach NRA Basic Pistol classes or become certified as a CWP instructor in South Carolina, North Carolina, and other states. You must complete a recent NRA Basic Instructor Training class from us, complete the NRA Instructor Led Basic Pistol class (not the same as the South Carolina or other CWP class), and pass our Pistol Instructor Pre Course Qualification test before we admit you to a Basic Pistol Instructor Training (PIT) class. Qualified candidates can enroll in one of our two-day special course packages and complete all requirements for the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor certificate in one Saturday and Sunday. You must have successfully completed a recent Basic Instructor Training class from us and pass both levels of our Defensive Handgun classes with the optional NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Certification for both classes.
